The deceased was a 24 year old male at the time of his disappearance and who was in good health.
The inquest focused on disappearance of the deceased and whether there was sufficient evidence to establish beyond all reasonable doubt that the deceased had died between 17 December 1997 and 10 November 1998 while travelling around Australia.
The Coroner found the deceased died between 17 December 1997 and 10 November 1998 at a place unknown and from unknown causes.
